Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites visited by users send to their devices, where they are stored to be sent back to the same sites on the next visit. So-called "third-party" cookies, on the other hand, are set by a website other than the one the user is visiting. This is because each site may contain elements (images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains, etc.) that reside on servers different from that of the visited site. Cookies are used for different purposes: performing computer authentications, session monitoring, storing information on specific configurations regarding users accessing the server, storing preferences, etc.

The general provision of the Privacy Authority (Official Gazette No. 126 of June 3, 2014) defines two types of cookies:

Technical cookies – These are cookies that are used to carry out navigation or to provide a service requested by the user. They are not used for further purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner. Without the use of these cookies, some operations could not be performed or would be more complex and/or less secure, such as home banking activities. The use of these cookies and the processing related to them does not require your consent under current regulations.

Profiling cookies – These are cookies used to track the user's browsing on the web and create profiles based on their tastes, habits, choices, etc. With these cookies, advertising messages in line with the preferences already expressed by the user during online browsing can be sent to the user's device.

Franonieri & Partners. for its own website, uses the following cookies:

Usage category: Functional – Type: first-party – Purpose: These cookies allow certain parts of the site to function correctly. These cookies are stored within the browser; it is possible to delete them or disable their reception, but this may compromise the functionality of some services on the website. The user can change the cookie reception setting by modifying its storage settings as described in the “How to disable cookies?” section of this policy.

Usage category: Analytics – Type: third party – Purpose: Google Analytics is a free web analysis tool from Google that mainly allows you to collect information (such as data relating to the pages visited, the time spent on the site, how the site was reached and everything the user clicked while browsing our pages) anonymously and report website trends without identifying individual visitors. You can view Google's privacy policy at the following link: http://www.google.it/intl/it/policies/privacy/.

We also inform you that videos from our YouTube channel may be embedded on the site. These videos, when viewed, set third-party cookies on your computer or mobile device, belonging to the YouTube domain, in order to improve video playback functionality and collect anonymous information about the videos viewed by the user.

How do you disable cookies?
